I thought the US Treasury was slow in issuing my stimulus check two months late, but the Spanish Embassy has one-upped them. I was accepted to a program to teach English in April and it is now July 2 and I am still waiting on the official acceptance letter in order to get my visa application going. According to the website, if you live anywhere north of San Francisco you have to fly down there to turn in your application in person and then fly back to pick up your visa in person. Call me cheap, but doesn't that sound like a lot of work/time/money?
This isn't my first experience in Spain and if my year in Cádiz, Andalucía taught me anything, it is take it easy, don't stress, and everything will get figured out....eventually.

I remember my dad had to fly to SF to pick up his visa to Vietnam in person. Come visit me and Annie before our trip though!
